We are delighted that we have been able to welcome worshippers back to our church building since 23rd May, following government guidelines of social distancing, hygiene measures, and masks. We also chose to continue with recorded choir & hymns. With the easing of government restrictions some changes lie ahead:
Sunday 25th July will be our final Zoom accessible service. However, from 1st August all our services will continue to broadcast live via Youtube. Details on how to join our services can be found here.
The recording of any service is usually available later that day, also from the link above to join services.
Visitors are most welcome to join us in person or online.
After 19th July, and the removal of government restrictions, we are following Synod recommendations that we remain cautious. Therefore if you come to Abbey Lane for worship in person please:
continue to practise social distancing
use the sanitizer provided
wear a face mask at all times inside our buildings
gather for conversations only on the lawn and outside areas
note that from 1st August live music will return and congregational singing will be allowed, wearing masks
Our weekly worship welcomes all ages, with the chance for younger people to join Junior Church activities for the second part of the service (currently held outside as a Covid precaution).
You can follow our worship online as a live stream or recording via YouTube; go to the Services and Recordings tab on the homepage for further information.
